Case summary: Sari Marcus died, and her infant daughter was injured in a rollover crash that occurred when Marcus lost control of her car as she swerved to avoid a parked FedEx delivery truck. Plaintiffs contend the truck was negligently parked, while the defense contends the truck was safely parked under the circumstances.   

 

Synopsis: Blalack highlights testimony of Jeffrey Boesger - who he points out was the only expert on commercial transportation and safety at trial - and his conclusion that the FedEx driver followed appropriate industry standards, and FedEx's own guidelines, in parking on the residential street at issue in order to make a delivery.
